Salary: Competitive salary around €120,000 - €150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the Job: As the Corporate Transport Manager, you will oversee and optimize Viscofan's international transportation of goods via road, sea, and air. Your primary responsibilities include:
- International Transportation Management: Oversee the transportation of goods internationally by road, sea, and air, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Budget Optimization: Manage and optimize an annual transportation budget of approximately €35-40 million.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage an international team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Logistics Platforms: Utilize and manage logistics platforms to plan, monitor, and optimize the company's logistics flows.
- Tender Management: Initiate and manage tender processes for logistics contracts, ensuring competitive and reliable service providers.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate transportation contracts to secure favorable terms and maintain strong relationships with carriers and service providers.
- Digital Transformation: Lead the digitalization of the transport management system, enhancing efficiency and integration with existing supply chain processes.
Qualifications and Skills: To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven solid experience in international freight transportation, including road, sea, and air modalities.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large transportation budgets (€35-40 million).
- Experience in launching and managing tenders for logistics contracts.
- Strong background in negotiating transportation contracts.
- Proficient in using logistics platforms for planning and optimization.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with experience managing international teams.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Ability to lead digital transformation initiatives within the transport function.
- Result-oriented with a strong focus on achieving targets and improving efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages.
