**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Systems Program Manager to join our Base-Building Electrical Engineering team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and improving electrical system maintenance programs and policies, ensuring compliance with local codes and global standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and improve maintenance programs and policies for electrical systems at warehouse locations, including audits of existing programs.
  • Partner with Risk Management and other key stakeholders in changes to the electrical system maintenance programs, aligning with insurance requirements as applicable.
  • Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications for electrical systems.
  • Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards.
  • Support operations, construction, and other relevant departments with product development and testing.
  • Audit electrical system maintenance practices globally to identify deviations and corrective actions.
  • Conduct equipment failure investigation and provide mitigation solutions.
  • Monitor trends in electrical system maintenance reports, and escalate as necessary to drive improvements to maintenance activities.
  • Support training and start-up of electrical system maintenance and impairment programs at new operations locations.
  • Develop and implement procedures for monitoring, diagnosing, and maintaining performance of assets.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in a technical support to operations role for electrical distribution systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of power system analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to electrical engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience solving problems at a continent or global scale.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with power system electrical testing.
