We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Systems Manager to join our Infrastructure Development team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and improving electrical system maintenance programs and policies, ensuring compliance with local codes and global standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and improve maintenance programs and policies for electrical systems at warehouse locations, including audits of existing programs.
- Partner with Risk Management and other key stakeholders to align electrical system maintenance programs with insurance requirements and global standards.
- Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications for electrical systems.
- Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct power systems studies and proficient in SKM systems analysis.
- Support operations, construction, and other relevant departments with product development and testing.
- Audit electrical system maintenance practices globally to identify deviations and corrective actions.
- Conduct equipment failure investigation and provide mitigation solutions.
- Monitor trends in electrical system maintenance reports and escalate as necessary to drive improvements to maintenance activities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in a technical support to operations role for electrical distribution systems.
- In-depth knowledge of power system analysis tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to electrical engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience solving problems at a continent or global scale.
- Strong project management capabilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with power system electrical testing.
- Experience commissioning power systems.
