About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Team Leader to join our team at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). As a key member of our Language Technologies Unit, you will be responsible for leading a team of ML engineers, data engineers, and computational linguists in developing cutting-edge speech processing technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in the development of deep learning models for speech-related tasks
  • Design and implement deep learning models for speech processing
  • Prepare model training in HPC clusters
  • Ensure the quality of the models
  • Apply for research projects and write research papers
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related disciplines
  • Demonstrated experience of at least 1 year in leading engineering teams in the relevant area(s)
  • Demonstrated experience of at least 4 years in deep learning frameworks and in the relevant area(s)
  • Published papers on deep learning, specifically in speech
  • Experience in project management and product development
What We Offer
