About the Role

We are Covestro, a leading manufacturer of high-performance polymers and materials. We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation and Control Systems Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans for Central Services and Utilities and Infrastructure.
  2. Design and implement a comprehensive strategy for maintaining the lifecycle of Process Analyzer Technology (PAT) and Non-Destructive Testing (NAT) equipment.
  3. Establish a spare parts concept to ensure reliability targets are met.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop operation instructions, including risk assessments and Hazop studies.
  5. Lead improvement projects focused on reliability, safety, and efficiency.
  6. Participate in global communities and working groups to standardize Covestro guidelines and standards.
  7. Coordinate with the central turnaround department to ensure seamless plant operations.
  8. Analyze maintenance documentation, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to mitigating measures.
  9. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance team knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
  2. Proven experience in Process Analyzer Technology and automation.
  3. Background in chemical continuous processes.
  4. Fluent English language skills.
