**Job Summary**

A position has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in a production environment. The successful applicant will join the ADS department and be responsible for supporting production activities related to MRTT conversion.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Support production activities related to MRTT conversion, ensuring Health and Safety, FOD, and House Keeping standards are accomplished.
  • Coordinate multifunctional teams to achieve delivery goals without pending works.
  • Ensure the level of quality required is met, reducing the cost of non-quality.
  • Follow schedules and continuous improvement processes to reduce costs and lead time.
  • Organize tasks to achieve high efficiency and accomplish conversion tasks within established budgets.
  • Manage incidences generated at shop floor level and control their flow.
  • Contribute to production excellence by managing and leading production tools.
  • Support staff improvement expertise by increasing their capabilities and skills.
  • Work in double shift and provide shop floor support to solve issues during manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain manufacturing structures and processes, associated documentation, and update process.
  • Provide manufacturing feedback and update documentation, technical solutions, and improvement proposals.

**Requirements**

  • Educated in an Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Production or Engineering Manufacturing.
  • Experience in A330 /green aircraft/modified aircraft and tanker systems.
  • Management of all qualifications of personnel and facilities required from Airworthiness Authorities, both civil and military.
  • Language skills: English and Spanish at an advanced level.
  • Knowledge in SIPLA, Digital Bar Chart, SNT, DEMAT, CATIA.
  • Knowledge in planning systems is a plus.
  • Experience in Project and Team Management will be a plus.
