Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting and Compliance
- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls across the group.
- Tax Management
- Oversee the development and implementation of tax strategies to optimize tax efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Manage relationships with tax authorities and advisors.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the Group Accounting, Reporting, Tax, Control, and Payroll teams.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the department.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
- Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with significant experience in publicly listed companies in Europe, Sweden preferred.
- Proven track record of managing financial operations, tax, and control functions at a senior level.
- Extensive experience with IFRS and external reporting requirements.
- Skills
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Hands-on approach, not shy to dive into the nitty-gritty to challenge and improve existing processes while keeping the main goals in sight.
- Knowledge of financial software (NetSuite) and systems.
