Job Title: Vendor Relations Manager - Senior

This role is with RWS, an inclusive employer and a member of myGwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community.

Job Purpose:

As a Vendor Relations Manager – Senior, you will act as an independent business partner to our production teams, helping them meet client delivery deadlines by identifying and sourcing suitable language vendors and/or individual resources for AI projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage existing vendors on AI projects, including qualification, contracting, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Act as an experienced business partner, providing vendor solutions to internal teams responsible for delivering AI-related tasks to clients.
  • Be the first escalation point for internal stakeholders in RWS and for suppliers.
  • Ensure each allocated project receives the best possible solutions, considering price, profile requirements, availability, and service, using internal databases.
  • Communicate directly with suppliers, answer queries, and provide support as needed.
  • Collaborate to define the supply chain strategy and build suitable partner strategies for assigned projects.
  • Influence the way we work and share ideas on how to improve both existing and future processes.
  • Collaborate on company-wide initiatives related to supplier management.
  • Train and develop others as a senior member of the team.
Requirements:
  • At least 4 years of Supply Chain experience from a role related to vendor management/sourcing or similar, combined with relevant industry experience (ideally related to AI & data services).
  • Experience in a client-facing role is a plus.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English, with other languages as a plus.
  • Advanced-level user of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while delivering on set objectives.
  • Ability to make decisions and stay organized when involved in multiple projects at the same time.
