Job Title: Technical Vendor Manager

Job Summary:

The Technical Vendor Manager is responsible for managing the critical path schedule of Consultants, General Contractors (GC) and supply chain, with the objective of finding, securing and gaining increased value from our vendors in D&C projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors to develop their capabilities to efficiently deliver high-quality projects safely, on time and within the defined budget.
  • Establish partnerships and long-term relations with key construction partners.
  • Collaborate with consultants, General Contractors and internal stakeholders such as Procurement, Pre-construction and Construction to understand the details of Amazon buildings.
  • Deep dive on key construction partners to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and quality.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure vendor performance and make data-driven decisions.

Requirements:

  • Strong level of ownership and bias for action.
  • Highly motivated individual with Project/Contracts Management experience within the construction industry.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly analytical to interlink vendors metrics and compare those against defined targeted KPIs.
  • Proven experience in construction industry and a track record of delivering results in fast-paced and dynamic business environments.

What We Offer:
