Job Title: Media Relations Manager

The Opportunity

This position will be responsible for the successful execution, effective coordination, and efficient management of the institution's positioning, external projection, and media presence.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance the institution's visibility and reputation.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and media outlets.
  3. Create compelling content and special actions to engage the target audience.
  4. Track and analyze media impact to ensure alignment with the institution's goals.
  5. Develop and execute special initiatives tailored to the institution's objectives.
Your Main Responsibilities

As a Media Relations Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Content Curation and Copywriting:
    • Ability to detect communication opportunities, execute projects from conception to realization, measure impact, and generate synergies with different stakeholders to reinforce Esade's strategic messaging.
    • Develop new angles and produce engaging stories, journalistic videos, articles, Op-Eds, and press releases.
    • Focus on writing, editing, and updating web content, blogs, and other digital content to improve organic search and drive user engagement.
    • Work with our creative team to develop high-quality visual content such as infographics and data visualizations.
    • Work closely with different units and departments to suggest content calendars and receive approval on topics and publishing schedules.
    • Regularly attend events and create content to be used to raise the profile of Esade's initiatives.
  • Media Relations:
    • Address inquiries from media and other parties, coordinating internally to provide timely and valuable responses.
    • Coordinate interviews, meetings, and press conferences with major media outlets in the institution's top-priority international markets.
    • Disseminate and create awareness on Esade's knowledge and research through press releases, Op-Eds, and other media-focused pieces.
