Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our Corporate Information Technology (IT) team as a Project Management Officer.

As a Project Management Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of projects and enhancements across the IT Organization, aligning with the established forecast model and meeting strategic business objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Tracking and reporting on the status of in-flight projects within the portfolio, covering scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Establishing project governance boards and presiding over them, compiling meeting minutes and tracking pending actions.
  • Managing project documentation, ensuring completeness and proper registration in our tools.
  • Guaranteeing that project deliverables adhere to the established schedule.
  • Monitoring KPIs across IT projects and enforcing PMO quality gates.
  • Aggregating best practices and driving continuous improvements in the project lifecycle.
  • Managing dependencies, risks, and issues, coordinating corrective actions.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating onboarding for new IT team members.
  • Taking ownership of communications and training related to ITBM processes, maintaining complete control over them.
  • Creating and updating training materials and user guides.
  • Conducting training sessions.
  • Scheduling and leading the Communities of Practice.
  • Designing and launching communications.
  • Keeping the SharePoint site up to date.
  • Identifying areas for improvement concerning IT Governance and IT Processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant IT or Computer Science field.
  • Over 3 years of experience in project delivery within a PMO capacity.
  • Proficiency in managing the entire project lifecycle with project teams.
  • Proven ability to work on large-scale initiatives, bringing diverse stakeholder groups together to deliver value and manage complex dependencies.
  • Demonstrated coaching experience in project management best practices.
  • Experience in diverse, multi-cultural, and matrix corporate cultures.
  • Expertise in Change Management and cultural change.
  • Ability to secure commitment to action by considering impacts and utilizing formal and informal communication channels.

Knowledgeable in ITBM Processes (demand management, application development, portfolio, program and project management), Governance Frameworks (COBIT), and Human Change Management (HCMBook, Prosci).

Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow, SharePoint, AzureDevOps, and Confluence.
