About the Role

As a Program Manager for Central Operations in EU, you will be responsible for driving standardization across the region. This will involve developing processes and systems to achieve metrics, often requiring scrappy solutions to temporarily overcome technical limitations. The ability to scale will be critical to all processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for EU DSP Payments programs to drive standardization and process compliance.
• Develop processes and systems to achieve metrics, often requiring scrappy solutions to temporarily overcome technical limitations.
• Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives through quantitative analysis and data-driven decision making.
• Ability to develop and share best practices across AMZL CO teams in other regions and Delivery Stations.
• Ability to partner and influence multiple stakeholders, such as DSP teams, Operations, ACES and Finance.

About the Team

AMZL handles 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilize creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers.

Qualifications

A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics or other business/analytical disciplines or equivalent. Relevant experience as a Project/Program Manager. Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership. Strong logical thinking, analytical skills and problem-solving skills. Experience in using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements. Preferred qualifications include an advanced or master's degree in business, operations or related fields, experience using SQL, and project-management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI, or similar. Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean. Experience working in an operational environment or with technical teams.
