About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to join our Central Operations team in EU. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving standardization across EU, improving last mile cost and Delivery Service Providers (DSP) Experience for Amazon Logistics (AMZL) EU.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for EU DSP Payments programs to drive standardization and process compliance.
  • Develop processes and systems to achieve metrics, often requiring scrappy solutions to temporarily overcome technical limitations.
  • Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives through quantitative analysis and data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to develop and share best practices across AMZL CO teams in other regions and Delivery Stations.
  • Ability to partner and influence multiple stakeholders, such as DSP teams, Operations, ACES and Finance.
About the Team

Our team handles 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilize creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers.

Requirements
  • A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics or other business/analytical disciplines or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience as a Project/Program Manager.
  • Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership.
  • Strong logical thinking, analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced or master's degree in business, operations or related fields.
  • Experience using SQL.
  • Project-management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI, or similar.
  • Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
  • Experience working in an operational environment or with technical teams.
