The Life Sciences Department at BSC is a multidisciplinary team of researchers and scientists working on various projects related to computational biology, bioinformatics, and genomics. Our team is dedicated to developing and applying advanced computational methods to understand complex biological systems.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our Life Sciences Department. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our research teams, ensuring the smooth operation of our department and contributing to the success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to research teams, including coordination of meetings, travel arrangements, and communication with stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring compliance with BSC's policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with other departments and teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Support the development and implementation of new procedures and processes to improve departmental efficiency.
- Assist with the organization of events, workshops, and conferences, including logistics and catering arrangements.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the department's goals and objectives.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A degree in a relevant field, such as administration, business, or a related field.Minimum 2-5 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a research or academic environment.Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.What We Offer:
