About the Role

The Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) is seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our Life Sciences department. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI/ML technologies for personalized medicine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement AI/ML algorithms for omic and biomedical data analysis
  • Collaborate with researchers to develop and integrate AI/ML methods into computational pipelines
  • Contribute to the development of software/hardware systems for AI/ML applications in life sciences
  • Participate in the design and execution of research projects, including data analysis and interpretation

About the Department

The Life Sciences department at BSC is a leading research group in the field of personalized medicine. Our team is dedicated to developing innovative AI/ML technologies to interpret omic and biomedical information, including genome analysis, enzyme and drug design, and electronic medical record analysis.

Requirements

  • PhD in a relevant field (e.g. computer science, life sciences, mathematics)
  • Strong background in AI/ML and programming skills (e.g. Python, R, C++)
  • Experience with data analysis and interpretation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
