Business Operations Manager, Planning and Performance

Gartner is seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Manager to join our Performance and Planning team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing reporting activities, preparing presentations, documenting processes, and providing data support for strategic decision making.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with leadership teams across Gartner to develop cross-functional, forward-looking financial, operational, and strategic business plans.
- Manage monthly and weekly operational reporting and presentations, including stacks, forecast, productivity, trending, and gateways.
- Prepare executive-level analytics and presentation materials for leadership teams.
- Execute on operational requirements, including the outcomes of the annual long-range planning process and the production of repeatable data analytics that provide insight into performance.
- Cultivate partnerships across the organization and with Conferences leadership to solve problems and identify business improvement opportunities.
- Support annual revenue budgets, monthly forecast processes, and territory planning.
- Validate large operational data sets to develop KPIs, analytical dashboards to improve decision making that drives business performance.
- Address ad-hoc operational data requests.
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's is a plus, preferably in analytics, quantitative, or finance discipline.
- 3-5+ years of progressive business experience.
- Exceptional analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI: ability to build moderately complex decision support models.
- Proficiency in Power Automate preferred.
