We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Science Education Specialist and Communication Coordinator.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the European Space Agency's mission to empower Europe to lead space science. As a Science Education Specialist and Communication Coordinator, you will play a key role in defining and implementing the Communication and Education Strategy for the Science Directorate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the CESAR education initiative, working closely with partners and the ESA Education Office.
  • Develop and deliver educational activities, including creating educational materials, managing training opportunities, and overseeing events.
  • Support the Head of the Science Communication and Education section in planning and implementing the optimal use of SCI resources dedicated to communication and education.
  • Manage and monitor existing contracts, and support the setup of new contracts to strengthen the impact and reach of available resources.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant domain.
  • Experience in space science and science communication.
  • Experience in project management, contract management, and educational activity development.
  • Result Orientation, Operational Efficiency, Fostering Cooperation, Relationship Management, Continuous Improvement, Forward Thinking.
  • Advanced level in Spanish (CEFR level C1 or C2).
