Strategic Account Manager

Gartner Careers is seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a Large Enterprise Account Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth and revenue through strategic partnerships with C-Level executives in large enterprise organizations.
As a key member of our sales team, you will leverage your expertise in consultative sales to identify and pursue new business opportunities, while also managing and expanding existing client relationships. Your ability to build strong relationships, communicate complex ideas, and drive results will be essential to your success in this role.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with C-Level executives to develop and implement effective, enterprise-wide strategies
- Identifying opportunities for account retention and growth through contract expansion, introducing new services and products
- Managing a quota of circa $1M USD in contract value, overseeing large enterprise accounts
- Guiding customer satisfaction, account retention, and growth by collaborating with clients and internal Gartner teams
- Own forecasting and account planning on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
Requirements for this role include:
- 5-10 years' B2B sales experience, preferably within Technology, SaaS, services, or a consultative environment
- Proven track record meeting and exceeding sales targets in a business development/new business environment
- Experience selling to and/or influencing C-level executives
- Proven ability to precisely manage and forecast a complex sales process
- Willingness to conduct EMEA-wide travel
