Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist Lead to join our Global Payroll Operations team. As a Payroll Specialist Lead, you will be responsible for managing existing relationships with key stakeholders, processing full end-to-end payroll, ensuring data integrity and quality, and focusing on KPIs and SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert for Spain
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders within Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering
- Process full end-to-end payroll, including statutory filing requirements, exceptions, approvals, payments, and compliance
- Ensure data integrity and quality
- Experience in accounting and reconciliations
- Focus on KPIs and SLAs
- Skilled in implementing and improving processes
- Mentor and support payroll specialists
- Back up regional managers during times of absence
Requirements
- Several years of payroll management or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of payroll best practices
- Proficient in using software tools like SAP, Excel / Google Sheets
- An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment
- A productivity geek who constantly thinks of ways to improve and speed up their work
- Understanding the need and ideal to work largely asynchronously
- Writes and speaks fluent English
- Experience working remotely is a plus, but not required
