Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer to join our IoT team and lead the development of our next-generation smart kitchen platform, Fresco KitchenOS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and architecting a world-class platform that scales to support millions of users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop a highly scalable and secure IoT platform that integrates with various kitchen appliances and devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration and deployment.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code that meets the highest standards of security, performance, and reliability.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Work closely with the IoT Engineering Lead to drive the development of Fresco KitchenOS and ensure it meets the company's vision and goals.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in building highly scalable distributed systems for IoT.
  • 3+ years of experience in architecting and deploying secure IoT platforms.
  • Proficiency in Python and AWS services such as IoT Core, S3, DynamoDB, and Lambda.
  • Strong understanding of data platform architectures and ability to translate them into real-world applications.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Fluent English language skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in software development or a related field.
  • Experience as a data or systems architect.
  • Knowledge of asynchronous platforms and APIs.
