About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial IT Platform Architect to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for defining the architecture of our commerce, sales, customer service, and marketing applications. You will work closely with our commerce, sales, and marketing teams to understand and anticipate their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define Commercial Platform Architecture: Collaborate with stakeholders to establish a commercial platform that enhances sales performance, marketing effectiveness, and customer engagement.
- Select Technology Stack: Choose the best technology stack for commercial capabilities based on Salesforce and best-of-breed solutions to maximize the potential of the commercial platform.
- Lead Development Team: Provide leadership and mentoring to developers, administrators, and architects. Foster a culture of growth and continuous improvement in lean organizations.
- Align with SAP ERP: Align with SAP ERP, integration, and data and analytics teams on the core integration framework.
- Application Ownership: Be the application owner for chosen applications in the realm of commerce, sales, marketing, and service applications.
- Guidelines and Documentation: Create and apply guidelines for strategy application design and configuration principles to maintain the platform's quality and integrity.
- Technical Documentation: Create and update technical documentation for technology used in commerce, sales, and marketing technology solutions.
- Solution Design and Testing: Engage in the design of the solution and conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to development standards and implementation standards.
- Release Management: Establish and coordinate release management along with solution testing practices and reliable post-release support process.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Relevant Experience: Proven relevant experience as a commerce, sales, and marketing architect with focus on Salesforce technologies and integrations with SAP, Digital Asset Management, Product Information Management, and Data Hubs.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with a collaborative attitude and an ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of Data Modeling, Flows, LWC Customization, Apex to design scalable online and offline solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in English, with ability to distil complex ideas clearly and effectively to stakeholders across the organization.
- Industry Experience: Experience working in the pharmaceutical or fast-moving consumer goods industry or providing solutions to companies in these sectors is an advantage.
