About the Role


We are seeking a skilled Electrical Yaw System Development Expert to join our global Engineering team in Hamburg, Germany. As a key member of our international team, you will be responsible for developing and analyzing tasks for our electrical yaw system.


Key Responsibilities



  • Specify, perform, evaluate, and document tests for the yaw system on component, system, and turbine levels
  • Analyze field data to verify the correct behavior of the yaw system
  • Program the yaw converter according to aligned functional specifications and design control strategies
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams to discuss yaw system requirements and develop technical specifications
  • Review proposed technical solutions with external suppliers
  • Create relevant technical documentation, including FMEA, manuals, and technical notifications

Your Profile


To be successful in this role, you will have:



  • A M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a similar background, preferably in automation, power electronics, and/or electrical drives
  • Advanced user skills in MATLAB/Simulink
  • Expertise in programming languages like SCL (Siemens) and/or Python
  • Experience in data analysis is an advantage
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written; Spanish and/or German is helpful
  • A well-structured and autonomous way of working with a solution-oriented mindset, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Intercultural understanding and a willingness to work collaboratively within cross-functional and global teams
  • Readiness for travel to tests at testbenches for up to 20% of the working time on average
