Job Description

CHEP, a global leader in the supply chain and logistics industry, is seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic HR support to Large Business Teams, ensuring timely and accurate information on HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and support HRBP (geographies or functions) to deliver high-quality HR services.
  • Advise and coach Directors/Managers on talent management and career paths, focusing on capability uplift and engagement.
  • Lead Talent Processes for Band 1 and 2, and support in Band 3.
  • Influence managers to ensure compliance with existing policies and effective people management.
  • Partner with the business to develop and implement people and organizational solutions, driving culture and performance.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all employees regarding HR matters.
  • Supervise and process job changes, temporary contracts, and off-boarding processes.
  • Support Employee Relations Manager on employee relations issues.
  • Provide support to regional Recruitment, including additional interviews, difficult conversations, and advice to managers.
  • Develop knowledge and expertise in Labor Relations, Payroll, Talent & Development, and Recruitment, with the ability to lead conversations with COE.
  • Support and train annual HR processes, including Optimising Performance, Annual Salary Review, Talent Reviews, and Pulse Surveys.
  • Lead/participate in local HR Projects and international HR projects, cross-functional initiatives to break silos.
  • Responsible for the rollout and administration of HR programs, including roadshows, live meetings, and training.
  • Conduct new manager assimilation sessions and represent HR in field compliance audits.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
  • Develop job aids and process flows for all field support services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a relevant technical discipline.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in business or a related discipline, experience, and knowledge in employee relations, labor relations, and wellbeing.
  • 3-5 years of related experience in Human Resources, with proven experience in administration and explanation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Experience with end-user customer support and training, and HR systems, preferably Workday.
  • Desirable experience in Multinational Companies.

  • Demonstrated experience interacting with employees and management at all levels, providing excellent customer service.
  • Customer service-focused, with strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to lead and coach.
  • High standard of work quality, with a focus on continuous improvement, excellent relationship building, and the ability to influence diverse groups.
  • Reliable, flexible, credible, and resilient, with a structured, disciplined, detail-oriented, completer/finisher, self-motivated approach.

Languages:

English and Spanish.
