Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Accreditation and Quality to join our team at IE University. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our accreditation efforts and ensuring compliance with internal policies and accreditor standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify synergies between accrediting agencies' criteria and design solutions to capitalize on them.
- Manage and drive improvements for existing data-gathering systems and procedures.
- Consolidate and deepen working relationships within the institution, promoting excellence and value added for our unit.
- Promote compliance with internal policies, in line with accreditor standards, and encourage the accreditations team to identify non-compliances.
- Produce and optimize documents, reports, and presentations to support accreditation processes and initiatives.
- Be responsible for the timely submission of surveys and follow-up reports required to maintain accreditations.
- Drive and monitor internal initiatives for improvement required by accrediting agencies.
- Address academic and professional staff inquiries related to accreditations.
- Lead strategic and special projects as requested by the head of the unit.
Requirements:
- A Master's degree from a top-ranked university is preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in the higher education sector.
- Strong project management capabilities.
- Discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issues.
- Attention to detail.
- Solid communication skills in English and Spanish.
