Accountant Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant Assistant to join our Accounts Payable team at Chanel, Inc. As an Accountant Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our daily accounting operations and contributing to the continuous improvement of our vendor database.
Key Responsibilities:- Record and maintain accurate financial data, including invoices and expense reports, in our accounting systems.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to ensure all transactions are correctly recorded and balanced.
- Monitor compliance of invoices and payments with internal policies and legal requirements.
- Identify and analyze discrepancies or errors in accounts and propose solutions for their correction.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and month-end statements, ensuring accuracy and consistency of the information presented.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate new requirements and functionalities into the vendor database.
- Analyze vendor management data and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Solid knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software, ideally Basware and Dynamics 365.
- Experience in database management (Excel, Access).
- Advanced level of English; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.
