Key Responsibilities:- Analyze and investigate variances, summarizing data, information, and trends.
- Perform analytical reviews of Financial Statements and explain any variances from Budget and Forecast.
- Coordinate and perform month-end closing.
- Prepare and maintain the accounting records of all MOHG entities associated with Hotel Ritz Madrid.
- Respond to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data for all financial reporting entities.
- Develop financial statements as and when required.
- Assist the Assistant Financial Controller in the budgeting & forecasting processes.
- Monitor Expense Management approach for any operational activities in all departments to ensure optimal efficiency and best performance.
- Monitor departmental internal controls and create and implement Operating procedures as necessary.
- Coordinate the submission of periodic MOHG reports (daily, weekly, and monthly).
- Coordinate all CSAQ and ISAQ submissions and carry out respective follow-up.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting & Finance.
- Demonstrates knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) emphasizing an overall extensive understanding of the applicable business and accounting issues, and technical accounting and financial reporting standards.
- Solid knowledge of bookkeeping competencies.
- Strong Level of Proficiency in Excel; ability to assemble, analyze, understand integrated spreadsheets and complex technical information.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Experience in Financial Accountant, Audit Services or similar role.
