Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrialization Manager for Cosmetics to join our team at Puig Deutschland Gmbh. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for transforming product designs or concepts into manufacturable products efficiently, while selecting the appropriate supplier to work with.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-conception/Conception:
    • Conduct pre-conception and pre-feasibility studies of product briefs to establish minimum information requirements.
    • Select the vendor panel with the purchasing team to send out requests for quotation (RFQ).
    • Create the packaging quotation format with the purchasing team, including pre-specs.
    • Follow and challenge technical answers from suppliers with the support of the MU packaging conceptor.
    • Select the supplier to start product development with the purchasing team.
    • Select the appropriate filling process and total productive maintenance (TPM) for the formula.
    • Integrate our corporate social responsibility (CSR) approach on each project, including spice calculation for VAC.
  • Development & Homologation:
    • Perform detailed risk analysis, including industrial constraints.
    • Conduct functional analysis for drawing validation.
    • Deeply follow up with suppliers, ensuring lead-time, quality, cost, and TPM.
    • Drive and coordinate meetings with suppliers (including TPM) and marketing.
    • Coordinate with the packaging and industrialization team in Barcelona for quality and outsourcing.
    • Assist the project team in follow-up and provide relevant information to the project team and CNP on tasks and milestones.
    • Analyze and adjust the setup of each piece with suppliers.
    • Qualify pieces with laboratory support.
    • Qualify pieces to be compatible with the formula and TPM industrialization.
    • Establish specifications, range boards, gabarits, and drawings to control components.
    • Provide all components needed for line trials, compatibility, user testing, technical preseries, and commercial preseries if necessary.
  • Execution & Production:
    • Validate the start of production on time, quality, and cost with the packaging supplier and TPM.
    • Prepare the packaging assembling instruction for TPM.
    • Prepare and participate in project closing.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Degree in Engineering, Administration, or a similar field.
  • Spanish and English bilingual.
  • Italian highly valuable.
  • Specific knowledge desired: project management, office, Adobe, SolidWorks.
