Your Role

We are looking for a skilled Innovation Bid Specialist to join our vibrant team. If you possess a background in orchestrating and overseeing the bid process for innovation initiatives, from crafting comprehensive, budgeted, and persuasive proposals to securing contracts, we would like to hear from you. We seek a proactive individual who diligently explores every potential opportunity that aligns with Mitiga's strategic vision.

Your exceptional command of English writing will enable you to develop compelling proposals. Your creativity will be evident in the engaging presentations you create to effectively close deals, showcasing your proficiency in both data analysis and visual storytelling.

While you thrive in an independent work environment with minimal oversight, you are also a collaborative team player, eager to work alongside the Mitiga team. You will gather insights from colleagues to craft winning proposals and assist them in their own commercial bids and public funding opportunities.

With a background in consulting or relevant industry experience in sectors such as infrastructure, energy, commercial real estate, asset management, or climate, you will bring valuable expertise to our initiatives.

Driven by an entrepreneurial mindset, you are passionate about leveraging innovation challenges to influence our products and strategies. These challenges often serve as gateways for various industries to embark on their climate journey, frequently requiring exploration and co-development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate directly with the Chief Strategy Officer and engage with the commercial and R&D teams, as well as our technology and consulting partners.
  • Lead the entire bid process for innovation challenges, from proposal development to contract acquisition, by actively seeking bid opportunities that align with Mitiga's strategic goals.
  • Formulate a successful strategy for winning bids, identifying our unique selling propositions and understanding client requirements through thorough research and proposal validation.
  • Independently shape and execute your innovation bid strategy.
  • Work with the Mitiga team to gather insights for developing successful proposals and support colleagues in their commercial bids and public grants.
  • Prepare budgets and respond to inquiries from prospects throughout the bidding process.
  • Assist the strategy team in researching current and future market trends, particularly focusing on understanding the needs and challenges of our targeted sectors.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing the bid process, preferably within consulting or relevant sectors such as infrastructure, energy, commercial real estate, asset management, or climate.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Experience in client-facing roles is a plus.
  • Strong project management and pitch presentation skills.
