- Lead Security and Loss Prevention projects at local, regional, and national levels.
A Day in the Life
In your role, you will collaborate with a team of Security and Loss Prevention experts, delivering security solutions across various business units within a specified geographical region. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular security audits, investigating policy breaches, and analyzing security incidents and loss occurrences.
Your investigative work will involve gathering data through system monitoring, report analysis, and interviews, which will aid in pinpointing process vulnerabilities and driving corrective actions.
You will play a crucial role in maintaining the physical security of our facilities by regularly assessing the health of our security systems and working alongside subject matter experts and external vendors to ensure their optimal performance.
Additionally, you will spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing our physical security infrastructure and contribute to the financial planning for our external service providers.
Team Collaboration
Daily interactions with external security service providers will be essential to guarantee the delivery of top-notch security services and an exceptional customer experience. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing loss prevention training and awareness programs for teams across all management levels.

As part of the Global Security Operations organization, our Security and Loss Prevention team is dedicated to supporting Amazon's business objectives while effectively mitigating risks that could:

We work collaboratively with stakeholders to secure the Amazon supply chain from end to end, promoting security in all business discussions. Our proactive approach involves identifying and addressing security risks early, intervening in incidents to minimize negative impacts, and thoroughly investigating occurrences to eliminate root causes and prevent recurrence.
Basic Qualifications
- A degree or equivalent experience.
- Relevant experience in security, risk management, asset protection, or related fields.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Upper intermediate proficiency in both written and spoken English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree or industry certification.
- Experience with physical security systems and investigation techniques.
- Background in retail, warehouse, or supply chain services.
- Experience working with data analytics.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
