About the Role
The Technical Lead - Firmware Platform & HIL will manage the technical specification of two platforms. The team will focus on the FW Layer, including all services for embedded devices, such as updating, booting, and logging. Additionally, the Hardware in the Loop Platform will be a key area of focus. The team will create and maintain all platforms, covering all products in the area of Entry System Automation/Control.
Key Responsibilities
- Definition and prioritization of technical requirements in the form of epics and user stories
- Ensuring that requirements (Application/Hardware/DevOps) are correctly understood
- Leading in creating epics/user stories and capturing technical specifications
- Planning of technical releases together with product management and project managers
- Responsible for the rough estimate of requirements as a basis for planning technical releases
- Fostering an agile culture of self-responsibility, mastery, and purpose
- Leading by example and following an analytical and methodical approach
- Increasing re-use by establishing and maintaining platform approaches
- Coordination and alignment of work across multiple teams and locations
- Financial management, including managing external costs within given budgets
- Line management of employees in the team, including hiring, skills development, and employee appraisals
Requirements
- Master's degree in a technical field, such as Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or Physics
- 5+ years of professional experience in technical leadership of complex development activities across multiple product areas and locations
- Agile development and scaled agility experience
- Product development experience within relevant environments
