Position Overview :

This role is aimed at delivering IT support to the Operational Resilience Team, which is responsible for maintaining the continuity of IT services. The selected individual will collaborate closely with the IT Operational Resilience Team and other IT teams.

Programme Objectives :

The Centre's mission is to provide reliable ICT services and innovative digital solutions to our Clients and Partner Organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will operate under the direct supervision of the Head of the Customer IT Resilience Team and will work in conjunction with various IT technical teams. Additional tasks of a similar nature may be assigned as necessary.

Production Support:

  • Deliver production support for Middleware components, including Access Manager/Authentication, IBM-ISAM infrastructure, Filenet, CPD, and J2EE applications.
  • Manage Websphere application servers and the custom J2EE e-Banking application.

Troubleshooting and Incident Management:

  • Diagnose technical issues while adhering to ITIL best practices.
  • Assist in incident and problem management, participating in governance processes.

Lifecycle Maintenance:

  • Support the comprehensive lifecycle maintenance of relevant systems and processes.

Anomaly Detection and Monitoring:

  • Monitor Middleware systems for irregularities and escalate issues as needed to ensure stability and security.

Project Support:

  • Serve as a technical resource for various IT projects.

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:

  • Assist in the design, development, and upkeep of disaster recovery protocols.
  • Implement changes approved by governance bodies into the recovery procedures.
  • Participate in the execution of recovery plans and provide necessary post-recovery assistance.

Collaboration:

  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives and resolve technical challenges.

Documentation and Best Practices:

  • Maintain thorough technical documentation in accordance with industry standards.
  • Stay updated on cloud computing technologies and apply this knowledge.
  • Ensure understanding of the organization's business continuity framework.
