Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and motivated Head of Commercial to join our dynamic team in Palma. As a key member of our commercial leadership team, you will play a critical role in implementing our company's strategy and driving growth and expansion.
Main Responsibilities
- Commercial Strategy and Planning
- Develop and lead the commercial budget across all markets, in collaboration with the Commercial Director.
- Identify and lead the acquisition of new sales channels and commercial opportunities.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Monitor and evaluate commercial activities performance and prepare reports for senior management and clients.
- Operational Efficiency and Innovation
- Drive operational and cost efficiencies by identifying and streamlining processes and further developing technology.
- Develop and enhance products, portfolios, and services by sharing best practices and leading innovation.
- Collaboration and Partnership
- Partner and collaborate with cross-country teams to develop, drive, and implement a mid/long-term strategic commercial plan aligned with company business objectives.
- Leadership and Development
- Lead the preparation and execution of workshops and colleagues' training.
- Lead and define acquisition strategy and scouting trips, and host clients where relevant and appropriate.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a commercial, contracting, or product management position.
- Degree in Tourism or Business Administration.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and great leadership skills.
- Excellent sales, communication, and presentation capabilities with strong relational and persuasion skills.
- Highly motivated, proactive team player with a positive 'can-do' attitude.
- Ability to work and interact in a multinational and multicultural environment.
- Flexibility with disposition to travel.
- Strong analytical thinking with a focus on understanding and responding to key business indicators and competitive trends.
- Fluent written and oral communication skills in English, additional languages will be a plus.
