We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Gardener to join our team at a private estate in the Balearics. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the garden team and ensuring the highest standards of garden maintenance and development.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive garden plan, working closely with the owner to achieve their vision.
- Manage and maintain the garden team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent results.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the garden, including lawn care, weed management, and annual maintenance.
- Design and implement new garden features, working with the owner to create a unique and beautiful outdoor space.
- Ensure the garden is presented to the highest standards, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for horticulture.
- Relevant horticulture qualifications, such as NCH, HND, or RHS Level 3.
- Excellent horticultural knowledge and experience in garden management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with the garden team and the owner.
- Methodical planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Full clean driving license and ability to work independently.
- Competitive salary based on experience, with a range of £30k to £35k.
- Single person live-in accommodation on the estate.
- Use of a car for work-related purposes.
