Regional Demand Planner

As a Regional Demand Planner, you will play a crucial role in analyzing sales forecasts, preparing demand plans, and supporting S&OP meetings. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Checking the accuracy of statistical forecasting and creating baselines based on historical data.
  • Liaising with market organizations to obtain enrichments, evaluate, and incorporate changes into demand plans.
  • Regularly analyzing KPIs (e.g., forecast accuracy) and proposing actions to improve performance in collaboration with regional demand planning.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date 36-month forecast in related systems (e.g., APO) based on the latest business insights.
  • Closely monitoring supply issues (e.g., stock outs and bottlenecks) in collaboration with supply coordination and identifying their impact on demand.
  • Preparing and supporting S&OP meetings in line with the global schedule, including report preparation, issue analysis, and action item coordination.
  • Partnering with supply coordination and market organizations to monitor shelf life and obsolescence and providing recommendations to avoid write-offs.

As a Regional Demand Planner, you will have the opportunity to work with various stakeholders, including:

  • Internal: Regional Supply Chain Management, Headquarters, Global Supply Planning Management, Supply Chain Management Stakeholders (in the countries), Sales & Marketing teams (in the countries).
  • External: Auditors.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a postgraduate certificate in supply chain management would be desirable.
  • At least 5 years of related experience in supply chain management.
  • Self-starter drive with good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Strong SAP knowledge, especially APO.
  • Deep MS Office Knowledge.
  • Digital mindset and knowledge in emerging digital technologies (e.g., RPA, Blockchain, AI, IoT, etc.).
  • Experience in operational excellence.
  • Highly motivated, structured, and able to handle stressful situations if needed.
  • Strong in trouble shooting, problem solving, and high degree of proactivity.
  • Results-oriented.
  • Proficient in oral and written English.
  • Multiple languages would be an advantage.
  • Strong team player.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multicultural environment.
