About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Supply Chain Intern to join our team at Reconocida Empresa in Madrid. As a key member of our Procurement Department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of our global sourcing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the global Supply Chain procurement function in the development and execution of the global sourcing strategy by interacting with internal and external stakeholders, analyzing markets, and helping to deliver end-to-end category management practices in line with overall functional strategies.
  • Support the team in the development of specific best practices for sourcing, including TCO/Should cost analysis, distribution models analysis, integration of global standards, category guidelines, and negotiation packages.
  • Explore market and industry dynamics and connect trends and solutions with our company's needs.
  • Help define cost improvement opportunities through analysis of existing sourcing solutions, contract terms, and investigation of the market.
  • Develop mechanisms and metrics to maintain supplier databases, track performance related to delivery, quality, and cost.
  • Ensure efficient communication with a variety of internal stakeholders and external partners.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Economics, or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and spoken English (C1/C2).
  • Project Management Skills & Result Oriented.
  • Supply Chain interest.
  • Strategic thinking.
  • Strong verbal and written communication plus analytical skillset.
  • Entrepreneurship & Commercial sense.
  • Stand alone.
  • Valid Spanish work permit.
