Program Manager, Northern Amazon

Conservation International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead our efforts in the Northern Amazon region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing our strategy in the region, overseeing all phases of the project cycle, and ensuring measurable results and compliance with donor agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement work plans and budgets for project implementation in the Northern Amazon, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.
  • Prepare progress reports, ensuring they are timely and accurate while meeting donor requirements.
  • Ensure the efficient and effective use of available resources to achieve desired project outcomes, guaranteeing compliance with our policies and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication, monitoring, and evaluation systems, ensuring transparency and a proper flow of information among all stakeholders.
  • Identify potential risks or challenges and propose solutions that facilitate the success of actions.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in program management, with a focus on conservation and sustainability.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex challenges.
