Job Title: Administrative Assistant, Education

We are seeking an experienced administrative assistant to join our Education & Training Department at Instituto de Salud Global de Barcelona. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing departmental activities, including scheduling, calendar maintenance, payment processing, travel arrangements, and event planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage administrative tasks related to Education & Training departmental activities.
  • Schedule meetings and events, and maintain internal department calendars.
  • Process payments and reimbursements.
  • Organize travel related to departmental activities.
  • Plan and manage events.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to academic/training activities.
Requirements:
  • 3-7 years of experience in a similar administrative role.
  • Undergraduate degree or professional certification/training in a related field.
  • Experience in an academic/research environment and/or global health-related institutions.
Skills:
  • Problem resolution.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Interest in learning new skills.
Language:
  • Advanced written and spoken English required.
  • Other advanced written and spoken languages (Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese) highly valued.
Conditions:
  • Duration: 1 year (subject to renewal).
  • Starting date: January.
  • Contract: Part-time (50%).
  • Salary Range: Technic II.
