Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Strategic Indirect Buyer to enhance our procurement strategy within the wind energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling of complex assignments associated with Indirect Spend regarding Tail spend C, like tooling, consumable office staff, and Training.
- Drive the implementation of the digital market place and catalogue for operative workers.
- Maintain and improve relationship with internal business partners as a key account.
- Anticipate the need via constant communication.
- Understand the pain points of your business partner.
- Solutions oriented.
- Obtaining budgets and specifications.
- Participation in developments.
- Improvement and coordination of shared processes.
- Have a leading role during the whole procurement phase and strategy development.
- Animate and define the pace at each step, being a constant link between internal and external business partners during all negotiations.
- Global cost optimization through innovation, negotiations, cost driver identification, working capital management, and process improvement.
- Ability to manage Total Cost of Ownership and see beyond the purchasing phase.
- Supplier Base optimization: Maintain relationship with preferred suppliers, source new suppliers, and drive to a pragmatic and optimized IoT of suppliers.
- Lead the process until contract signature and support Tactical purchasing team for the P.O creation.
- Presentation of the contract to the internal business partner and follow up with contract management.
- Maintain the Price database UpToDate.
