Lead Production Operations Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Production Manager for our Fragrances division, reporting directly to the Production Director. This role is pivotal in overseeing and coordinating all production activities while ensuring adherence to the company's standards for Safety, Quality, Service Level, Productivity, and Cost.
Key Responsibilities
As the Senior Production Manager, you will be tasked with the daily management of our filling plant operations.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the production schedule aligns with safety, quality, service, and cost benchmarks.
- Addressing daily operational challenges and leading your teams effectively.
- Facilitating the implementation of systems, troubleshooting issues, standardizing production processes, and fostering continuous improvement within the manufacturing environment.
- Developing and inspiring middle management personnel.
- Actively engaging in investigations related to any incidents or accidents that may occur on-site.
- Leading investigations into quality nonconformities across various production lines.
- Managing scheduled downtimes and ensuring alignment with the production plan on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Reporting on KPIs and monitoring production efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Proposing initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Leading and motivating the Production Managers team, including Process Engineers, Shift Leaders, and Maintenance personnel.
- Contributing to the business needs in Granollers.
- Building systems to enhance facility capacity, including improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), increasing flexibility, and implementing visual management techniques.
- Enhancing the capabilities of the fragrance teams through the development of Asset Management, Preventive Maintenance, settings documentation, standardization, and problem-solving methodologies.

- A degree in a technical field (engineering or similar).
- Experience in managing production processes within the manufacturing sector.
- A problem-solving mindset, methodical approach, and the ability to drive change.
- Proficiency in the English language at a near-native level.
