Lead Production Operations Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Production Manager to oversee our Fragrances production line, reporting directly to the Production Director. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all production activities align with the company's objectives regarding Safety, Quality, Service Levels, Productivity, and Cost Management.
Key Responsibilities
As the Senior Production Manager, you will be tasked with the daily management of our filling plant operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring adherence to the production schedule while meeting safety, quality, service, and cost benchmarks.
- Addressing daily operational challenges and leading your teams effectively.
- Facilitating the implementation of operational systems, troubleshooting issues, standardizing production workflows, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentoring and developing middle management personnel.
- Participating in investigations related to any incidents or accidents that may occur within the plant.
- Leading root cause analyses for quality discrepancies across various production lines.
- Managing scheduled downtimes and ensuring compliance with production targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitoring production efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Proposing and implementing continuous improvement strategies.
- Leading and inspiring the Production Management team, including Process Engineers, Shift Leaders, and Maintenance personnel.
- Contributing to the business needs of the Granollers facility.
- Developing systems to enhance plant capacity, improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), increase flexibility, and implement visual management techniques.
- Enhancing the capabilities of the fragrance teams through the development of Asset Management, Preventive Maintenance, Standard Operating Procedures, and problem-solving methodologies.
