Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and cash flow management.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Experience with working to tight deadlines and meeting financial reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or professional accounting designation (e.g. ACCA, CIMA).
