About the Role

Zurich Australian Insurance is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Group Head of Enterprise Data Architecture to lead our company's data architecture strategy. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing data architecture solutions that align with business objectives, enhance data quality, and support the organization's growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of senior data architects and help shape group-level thinking in data strategy and architecture, business intelligence, data engineering, master data management and governance, data operations, and platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a data culture, drive data-driven initiatives, implement best practices, and ensure the organization maximizes the value of its data products, business intelligence, and analytical value cases.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data architecture strategy that aligns with business objectives and supports the organization's growth.
  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the data architecture team, ensuring that data architecture solutions are aligned with business objectives and meet the needs of the organization.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in navigating a complex, matrix-structured organization.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to lead a team of senior data architects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement data architecture solutions.
  • Experience in data strategy and architecture, business intelligence, data engineering, master data management and governance, data operations, and platforms.
