We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Architect to lead our data architecture efforts and drive the development of data governance standards across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement data architecture standards for data collection, data governance, maintenance, storage, organization, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Lead the development of AI-based solutions and ensure adherence to relevant regulations regarding data storage, including universal standards for data privacy and security.
- Guide project teams on data architecture and governance, ensuring adherence to business-wide data standards.
- Interface effectively with management on high-level organizational data needs and ensure that all aspects of data architecture are in alignment with larger business concerns and strategic direction.
- Monitor data architecture across all levels of the organization and identify areas for architectural improvement.
- Communicate frequently with business stakeholders to accurately translate business needs into a sustainable data architecture.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and lead the selection of data management software and tools.
- Assist data and analytics leaders, and business and IT leadership in developing information/data governance processes and structures.
- Ensure enterprise data/information architecture is used as a lens and a filter to identify, prioritize, and execute data and analytics initiatives with clear lines of enterprise strategies and business outcomes.
- Several years of experience in IT, especially in data design and architecture.
- Knowledge of key data architecture principles.
- Strong foundation in enterprise system development, including the information system life cycle.
- Experience and knowledge in AI technologies.
- Knowledge and experience with industry-standard data systems.
- Expert knowledge of database design principles.
- Familiarity with metadata management software.
- Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Strong international experience and ability to work with global teams.
- Ability to remain unbiased toward specific technologies or vendors.
- Very good command of English language (both verbal and written) and German language skill is a plus.
