Job Summary

Zurich Australian Insurance is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Enterprise Data Architecture Leader to spearhead our company's data architecture strategy. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing data architecture solutions that align with business objectives, enhance data quality, and support the organization's growth.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of navigating complex, matrix-structured organizations and will be responsible for leading a team of senior data architects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to foster a data culture, drive data-driven initiatives, implement best practices, and ensure the organization maximizes the value of its data products, business intelligence, and analytical value cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Zurich Australian Insurance's development towards a truly data-driven company culture
  • Define and execute Zurich Australian Insurance's Data Strategy and Architecture
  • Build a sustaining data foundation where data will become the backbone of decision making
  • Drive the identification, prioritization, development, and scale-up of data use-cases prioritized along business value
  • Establish Data Governance and harmonization centered around Zurich Australian Insurance's process areas

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, strategy, and leadership, with a proven track record of success in a similar role. You will be a dynamic leader who is a data expert and is equally adept at strategy and execution. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
