Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled FP&A Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our Finance team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by providing actionable insights that will help Nexthink expand globally.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to plan, measure, and forecast business performance.
- Planning and Financial Analysis: Participate in annual planning, long-term planning, rolling forecast, and variance process to ensure accurate financial projections.
- Marketing Operations: Analyze marketing activities and challenge Cost per activity, ROI, and marketing metrics to optimize campaign performance.
- Data Analysis: Produce KPI reporting and root cause trends in KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
- Systems: Maintain and update Adaptive Planning to ensure seamless financial reporting.
- Communication: Prepare and review monthly financial decks to promote internal and external understanding of the company's financial results.
- Business Partnership: Support department budgets, headcount planning, strategic initiatives, ad hoc financial analysis, and monthly, quarterly, and annual planning.
- Work cross-functionally: Collaborate with Accounting team on variance analysis and monthly reporting, People Ops teams on headcount metrics and recruiting, and Department leaders on budgeting and forecast updates from prior months' results.
- Ad-hoc analysis: Perform additional analysis as required to support business needs.
- 5+ years of FP&A experience or Marketing Controller within a SaaS or Tech company in an international environment.
- Outgoing personality with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in an easily understandable way to non-finance teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, statistics, economics, business, or other related fields.
- Experience with financial planning software (Adaptive Planning) and Netsuite.
- Passion for helping others make informed decisions driven by ROI and storytelling with numbers.
- Ability to present financial data concisely using detailed reports and charts and through written and oral communication.
- Outstanding Excel skills with the ability to manipulate large data sets.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Independent spirit who thrives in fast-paced environments and adapts to change easily.
