As a Technical Service Engineer (m/f/d) at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will be instrumental in assisting our clients with their technical challenges. Your role will be pivotal in delivering support and ensuring that our clients have an exceptional experience. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary contact for customers to remotely diagnose operational, hardware, software, and computer-related issues via phone and email, focusing on Genetic System platforms such as NGS and CE. Act as a liaison between Technical Service and Application Support by qualifying requests and addressing customer needs to resolve inquiries. Contribute to achieving specific Global Service & Support (GSS) related objectives. Collaborate closely with Support and Field Service Engineers to prioritize tasks effectively. Provide professional support and service activities to ensure optimal assistance to our clients. Deliver adaptable telephone support and work diligently to ensure customer success in utilizing instrumentation. Ensure that response times are met when communicating with customers in accordance with contractual agreements. Qualifications: A master's degree in life sciences, engineering, or a related discipline. Proficiency in both verbal and written communication in English and German (additional language skills such as French, Spanish, or Italian are advantageous). Strong problem-solving skills and relevant experience. Practical experience in NGS. Familiarity with fundamental techniques related to Molecular Biology products, including instruments and application backgrounds.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with customers and colleagues. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
