Job Summary

This role is part of the Technical Support Team at Danaher, an inclusive employer and a member of Mygwork. As a Field Service Engineer, you will provide excellent support to customers and maintain LS instrumentation and systems in hospitals. You will be responsible for guaranteeing constant technical growth of field engineers and be the face of Beckman Coulter to customers, directly impacting patient health and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and build knowledge to understand the industry, the company, the products, tools, and the team.
  • Complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Beckman Coulter LS (Flow Cytometry) equipment's.
  • Support laboratory systems in the field of clinical and research diagnostics.
  • Partner with customers on technical issues and how to maximize the instrument's usage.
  • Develop project management skills in the context of installation projects.
  • Provide excellent and efficient support to Beckman Coulter's customers and Field service engineers, along with technical training.
  • Maintain customer support logs and internal records in a timely manner, ordering parts and adhering to cycle times.
  • Work closely with our sales and office staff, provide consultancy to our customers on preventive maintenance, service contracts and equipment solutions.
Requirements
  • Technical degree (technical engineering, biomedical engineering, instrumentation engineering, electrical engineering or related) and 3 years' experience in IVD.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Interpersonal relationship and problem-solving skills.
