Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled French-speaking Business Development Representative to join our team at Cross Border Talents. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in identifying and capitalizing on robust sales opportunities for Google Products.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Meet Sales Quotas and Activity Targets: Meet quarterly Sales Qualified Opportunity (SQO) quotas and achieve daily and weekly activity targets.
  2. Manage a Designated Portfolio: Manage a designated portfolio to identify high-potential prospects and educate customers on available offerings.
  3. Conduct Outbound Calls and Emails: Conduct daily outbound calls and emails, including cold calling, targeting C-level decision makers, establishing rapport quickly, and assessing needs.
  4. Identify Customer Pain Points: Identify customer pain points, gather technical requirements, align business needs with available Cloud solutions, and emphasize value in advancing the sales process.
  5. Maintain Prospect and Customer Data: Maintain and update prospect and customer data using CRM tools, ensuring comprehensive documentation of customer interactions.
  6. Contribute to Team and Individual KPIs: Contribute to team and individual KPIs such as productivity, conversion rates, opportunities, and pipeline growth.
  7. Document Customer Notes and Deal Specifics: Document customer notes and deal specifics systematically to provide clarity on past and present customer interactions.
Required Qualifications:
  1. Education and Language Skills: BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience. Native proficiency in French; fluent and idiomatic English speaking and writing skills.
  2. Experience in Outbound Sales: Some experience in outbound sales, B2B sales, or business development, preferably in the IT industry.
  3. Familiarity with Cloud Computing Concepts: Familiarity with cloud computing concepts, particularly Google Cloud Platform solutions.
  4. Business Acumen and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to align business needs with appropriate solutions, demonstrating strong business acumen. Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and professionalism.
  5. IT Skills and Comfort Level: Comfortable working under quotas in a phone-based sales environment. Fundamental IT skills necessary for efficient computer-based tasks.
Desired Qualifications:
  1. Experience in IT Outbound Sales: 1 year of experience in IT outbound sales prospecting, with strong sales acumen and the ability to persuade and assess situations effectively.
  2. Cold Calling and Portfolio Management: Experience in cold calling and managing a large portfolio of accounts and contacts successfully.
  3. CRM Platform Familiarity: Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
  4. Decision Maker Identification: Ability to identify key decision makers and relevant stakeholders during business conversations.
  5. Goal-Oriented and Self-Motivated: Goal-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, confident, competitive, and tenacious.
