About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join our team at Reconocida empresa. As a key member of our Internal Audit function, you will play a critical role in assisting the company in achieving its objectives by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the evaluation and improvement of Governance, Risk Management, and Internal Control processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Execute the Annual Audit Plan: Schedule, coordinate, and conduct operational, compliance, IT, and financial audits to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
  2. Conduct Reviews and Assessments: Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls over financial statements, key business processes, compliance, and technology. Identify key risks and controls and test internal controls accordingly.
  3. Prepare Reports and Communicate Findings: Prepare reports based on audit results, audit documentation, and client responses. Effectively communicate audit findings via update and closing meetings with management.
  4. Monitor Implementation of Agreed Actions: Monitor timely implementation of agreed actions and report progress to management.
Other Responsibilities
  1. Conduct Ad Hoc Reviews and Special Investigations: Conduct ad hoc reviews and special investigations, including fraud, as required.
  2. Support Enterprise Risk Management: Support the company's enterprise risk management process.
  3. Manage External Co-Sourced Auditors: Support the Internal Audit Director in managing external co-sourced auditors in the scoping and performance of co-sourced audits.
  4. Implement and Enhance Internal Audit Tools and Processes: Support the Internal Audit Director in implementing and continuously enhancing internal audit tools, processes, and methodologies.
Requirements
  1. University Degree in Finance, Business Administration, IT, or Relevant Field: Hold a university degree in a relevant field.
  2. Professional Accounting/Audit Certification: Possess a professional accounting/audit certification, such as CPA, ACCA, CIA, or CISA.
  3. Excellent Communication and Analytical Skills: Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills in English and strong analytical skills.
  4. Experience with Risk/Control Frameworks: Have general knowledge of risk/control frameworks, such as COSO or COBIT.
  5. Experience with SAP: Preferably have experience with SAP.
  6. Goal-Oriented and Team Player: Be a goal-oriented and outgoing individual with strong interpersonal and team working capabilities.
