Senior Security Engineer L2

About the Role:

The Senior Security Engineer is a key member of our Omniaccess security team, responsible for designing and implementing robust security solutions to protect our customers' assets. As a hands-on security professional, you will provide technical leadership and expertise to ensure the security posture of our customers is always evolving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical implementation of security architecture and services, including SOAR, SIEM, EDR, Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Proxy, Vulnerability scans, and Threat Intelligence.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, security guidelines, and processes to prevent breaches and intrusions.
  • Conduct security risk assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls, proposing measures to mitigate risks.
  • Oversee the security infrastructure to maintain integrity, capacity, reliability, and availability, ensuring business requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with internal product teams to architect solutions securely and run tests and simulations to determine vulnerabilities.
  • Generate monthly security KPIs and reports, and arrange technical security training for staff.
  • Lead the incident response plan and supervise SOC escalation processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of security controls, including network security technologies, OS hardening, file integrity monitoring, authentication, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Experience leading resources or project management, with a strong ability to communicate complex technical issues to diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in threat modelling and architectural risk analysis, with a proven track record in network and system security and design.
  • Knowledge of standards like ISO:27000 series, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and Agile principles.
  • Desired qualifications include relevant technical security certifications.
